There are two species in this family of sharks. They have flattened bodies; broad, flat heads; two spineless dorsal fins, an anal fin, five pairs of gill slits, and barbells on their nostrils. Blind sharks are found in
warm temperate and tropical regions around Australia. They are found in shallow water and to depths of 300 feet. They are often found in rocky or coral areas. They eat small bony fish, crustaceans, and
anemones.
